Q1. What first got you into Gospel Music?
Ans. Hmmmm. Shall I say passion for spreading God’s word world over?? Yes! You know I grew up in a Christian Family. But you know when you are born to do something, you’d just have the burden of doing it. So God placed the mandate on me. So as 5 years old boy I started playing keyboard. At 7 years joined the Children’s Choir in my Church I was the lead singer by then. So basically I grew up serving God.
Q2. Who inspired you to make Gospel Music?
Ans. At a very early age in my life I was always listening to the Legendary Don Moen, father of integrity music. As a boy I had always wanted to sing and worship God like him. So he inspired me by going deeper in Worship and learning musical instruments, because I found out he plays the piano & guitar.
Q3. How would you describe the Gospel music that typically Create?
Ans. My music is unique, and exceptional. I am a contemporary Gospel Music Minister.
Q4. Who would you most like to collaborate with?
Ans. Frank Edwards.
Q5. If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?
Ans. Frank Edwards
Q6. What Message would you give to your fans?
Ans. My fans world over. I firstly would like to say thank you for being part of my life. Thanks for your continual support in what I’m doing for the Lord. Please continue to pray for me and continue to support me in your little ways. And most especially to the Youths please hold steadfastly unto the Lord. There’s a releasing of God’s Glory upon you.
Q7. What is the most useless talent you have?
Ans I make use of all
Q8. DO you sing in the shower and what songs?
Ans. Yes I often sing in the showers. Any song dropped in my spirit.
Q9. What would you be doing right now if it wasn’t for your music Career?
Ans. A lawyer
Q10. Where have you performed? What are your favorite and least favorite venues? Do you have any upcoming shows?
Ans. I’ve been privileged to be featured on several international occasions and local events. Well I wouldn’t say favourite or least venues, because all venues are the same hence the HOLY SPIRIT is present. . But I’ve traveled far & wide singing for God.
Q11. What are your rehearsals generally like? Do you have a set each week in which you practice or are rehearsals more spontaneous?
Ans. Yes in normal circumstances, I do rehearse three times in a week. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Q12. How has your music evolved since you recorded the first song?
Ans. Well from my debut single song *SOLD* to now it has been graceful. Every song and every chance given to me to bless God’s people is a process of learning and growing.
Q13. What has been your biggest challenge as a Gospel artist? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so how?
Ans. The biggest challenge is financial constraints, to finance what I what to do for Gospel of God. . But sincerely God has been making ways for me, I sometimes just don’t understand how it happens. But that’s it.
Q14. What’s your ultimate direction? Are you seeking fame and fortune or anything else?
Ans. Soul winning is the ultimate direction here. That’s why if you’d listen to my songs you’ll find out they are highly spiritual. If it was fame, fortune or whatsoever I was seeking after, I should gone to the world.
Q15. What advice do you have for people who want to go into gospel music?
Ans. Well my usual advice to people who want to go into Gospel Music is, make sure you’re called to do it. Because when you are called to do it there is a special Grace for you. But when you’re not called you’d struggle.
Q16. How do you feel the internet has impacted the music business?
Ans. Somewhat the Internet has been of help to get the best in promoting my songs and other things.
Q17. What is your favorite song to perform?
Ans. Sophisticated Love
Q18. Which famous musicians do you admire?
Ans. I admire Frank Edwards.
Q19. What is the most trouble you`ve ever gotten into?
Ans. One day I left school to play games, play station. (P.S.) When I was a boy, I was so in love with playing games, but unfortunately I don’t have it in my house, so the only time I had chance to play games is when I go to school, from school I’ll pass there and play the play station and my mum don’t want me there. Ok cut long story short while I was in the play station center, I just felt someone hold my right hand, when I get to check who the person was, Twas my mother. She was like “So this is the school I sent you to go right? Come let’s go home.” She was so vexed and when we went home I was flog angrily.
Q20. What is the best advise you`ve been given?
Ans. To trust God.
Q21. If you could change anything about the gospel industry, what would it be?
Ans. The trend. I want the Gospel Music to play more than that of the secular music. Because we’re losing so many souls by these secular songs.
Q22. What`s next for you?
Ans. A lot. And I don’t want to talk about it now, if you don’t mind.
