Q1.         What first got you into Gospel Music?

 

Ans.       I got into Gospel Music as a result of giving my life to the lord. Having been in the church choir after giving my life to Jesus, gave me the passion to get into studio to produce Gospel Music as a way of preaching the Gospel through music

Q2.         Who inspired you to make Gospel Music?

Ans.       I was inspired first of all by people who spoke in my life and believed in me, i.e my family, especially my husband, my pastor and my friend. Apart from that, I got inspiration by many Local and international Gospel artists such as Ephraim son of Africa (Zambia) Racheal Nanyangwe ( Zambia), Sinachi ( Nigeria) NtokozoMbambo ( South Africa), CeceWinans (USA) , Juanita Bynum ( USA)

Q3.         How would you describe the Gospel music that typically Create?

Ans.       I really flow in worship and as a result I am more inclined to worship songs. I usually get my songs during worship and hence I find myself mostly writing worship based songs.

Q4.         Who would you most like to collaborate with?

   Ans.       I would really love to collaborate with Sinachi, Nathaniel Bassey and NthokozoMbambo.

Q5.         If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?

   Ans.       I would love to open show for NthokozoMbambo, Nathaniel Bassey, TashaCobbs

Q6.         What Message would you give to your fans?

Ans.       To Thank them for their support and to expect more by the grace of God before the end of the year.

Q7.         What is the most useless talent you have?

Ans        I believe every talent is from God and it can never be useless. When God gives you a talent, he expects you to use it for it to grow and benefit you and those around you.I have however not maximized the use of the teaching gift

Q8.         DO you sing in the shower and what songs?

Ans.       I do sing in the shower and when doing other things mostly my songs and otherfavouritesongs of praise & Worship

Q9.         What would you be doing right now if it wasn’t for your music Career?

Ans.       I am an entrepreneur, I manage properties and host different events such as weddings, wedding deco etc, so definitely I would still be busy.

Q10.       Where have you performed? What are your favorite and least favorite venues? Do you have any upcoming shows?

Ans.       I have performed mainly in Gospel Concerts and church conferences. My favorite venues is a typically worship concerts and my least favorite is to perform in a more talent showing entertainment kind of set up.

Q11.       What are your rehearsals generally like? Do you have a set each week in which you practice or are rehearsals more spontaneous?

Ans.       My rehearsals are mostly spontaneous and planned when I have a scheduled show ahead.

Q12.       How has your music evolved since you recorded the first song?

Ans.       From the first song I recorded I feel my music has developed in terms of lyrical selection, from the time I entered bible school I am very careful when it comes to writing unbiblical songs. I have also developed in the techniques of voice projection and just being me without so much imitating other artists.

Q13.       What has been your biggest challenge as a Gospel artist? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so how?

Ans.       My challenge has been luck of promotion and marketing, I think I have not done well in this area. Along the way I have learnt a lot and going forward I wish to state that I will work on the weaknesses I have seen that has limited me in terms of publicity.

Q14.       What’s your ultimate direction? Are you seeking fame and fortune or anything else?

Ans.       My direction is to become a voice both locally and internationally. I am not seeking fame or fortune, what I seek for is to become what God ordained for my life and at the same time become a blessing to the body of Christ around the world.

Q15.       What advicedo you have for people who want to go into gospel music?

Ans.       My advice is firstly believe in yourself, have a sound relationship with God,  and that should be the basis for venturing out into sing Gospel Music. One must take singing Gospel as a one way of preaching the good news. It may not always be smooth but one must always know that God would there to help. Fame must never destruct someone on the road no matter what.

Q16.       How do you feel the internet has impacted the music business?

Ans.       Internet has had so much impact on music because of so many numbers that can be reached within a short period of time. Songs are able to sell on digital platforms and that is a great advantage on the music business.

Q17.       What is your favorite song to perform?

Ans.       Wow!! I have so many favorites but from my songs I love “MWALISHILA` (you are Holy) the single I released last year

Q18.       Which famous musicians do you admire?

Ans.       I admire Tasha Cobbs

Q19.       What is the most trouble you`ve ever gotten into?

Ans.       I can`t remember any trouble I have ever gotten into

Q20.       What is the best advise you`ve been given?

Ans.       Believe in yourself

Q21.       If you could change anything about the gospel industry, what would it be?

Ans.       Have a church mother body in every country that regulates and scrutinize the lyrical content of every gospel song so that it conforms to the true biblical interpretation. Gospel artists must have a church under which they submit that is responsible for their conduct and testimony.

Q22.       What`s next for you?

Ans.       Getting into studio for my second album

Q23.       Any last words?
